At 12:11 a.m. Sunday, July 1, Sylvester Allen Gray, 37 of Lusby, was traveling south on Thompson Corner Road above the posted speed limit, police report.
Gray was operating a 2001 Suzuki sport bike, when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve, went off the south side of the road and struck a utility pole. Gray succumbed to his injuries at the scene. There were no witnesses on the scene.
