Leonardtown High School’s girl’s basketball teams had a successful outing Friday night, with both the varsity and JV teams coming away with victories against Calvert High School.
The JV team held the lead throughout (16-8 at half time) and finished with a commanding win (48-22) over Calvert High School.
The Leonardtown varsity team also executed a decisive ‘W’, sending Calvert High School packing 33-15.
“We played with good intensity,” said the varsity coach for Leonardtown after the game.
