On October 10 at 7 p.m., officers and the State Fire Marshalโ€™s Office responded to Automated Graphics located in the 4500 block of Graphics Drive in White Plains for the report of a man breaking into cars and setting them on fire.

Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect, Jason Michael Fessette, 29, of Lexington Park, in the vicinity of the business. They stopped him and found him to be in possession of burglary tools. In addition, they recovered a dirt bike he had been riding which was reported stolen in St. Maryโ€™s County.ย 

Further investigation linked Fessette to the vehicle break-ins and fire.

Fessette was charged with malicious burning, malicious destruction of property, theft, burglary, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and motor vehicle theft (dirt bike).

Officer Weaver and Officer Newman made the arrest.
