Summaries of the follow incidents and arrests were submitted by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, March 4.
Feb. 28 – sometime between Feb. 25 and 28, unknown suspect(s) sprayed paint on the victim’s vehicle while it was parked on Mayfair Lane in Lexington Park. Case was suspended.
On Feb. 28, a victim reported receiving threatening phone calls from a known suspect at her residence in Great Mills. Case is open.
On Feb. 28, unknown suspect(s) spray painted a display sign near the entrance to Wicomico Golf course. Case suspended.
On Feb. 28, an employee of the KFC Restaurant located in Leonardtown reported money missing from the business. Case remains open.
On Feb. 28, a neighbor reported a possible burglary to a vacant residence in Mechanicsville after observing evidence the residence had been forcibly entered. Case remains open.
On Feb 28, employees of the Walmart in California observed a suspect remove merchandise from the packaging and conceal it on his person. The suspect fled the store on foot but was apprehended a short distance away by deputies. The juvenile male suspect was placed under arrest and charged with theft. Case is closed.
