HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Stan Lee, the prolific Marvel Comics co-founder and author has died at the age of 95, confirmed by his family attorney, Nov. 12.
Lee, who created famous comic-book characters such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Fantastic Four, X-Men, The Incredible Hulk and more is credited with fathering the modern comic-book by many fans.
According to Lee’s family, he had been suffering various health issues throughout the past year. TMZ reports that he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in an ambulance early this morning where he later died.
Lee famously appeared in every Marvel Movie in cameo roles. He leaves behind his daughter, J.C. Lee.
