St. Mary’s City, MD – A state delegate and senate candidate forum in St. Mary’s County District 29 is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 6 – 9 p.m. at the College of Southern Maryland’s Leonardtown campus, Auditorium, Building A. The forum is sponsored by St. Mary’s College of Maryland’s Center for the Study of Democracy, the Southern Maryland Association of Realtors, and Baynet Media. The forum is free of charge and open to the public.

All state delegate and state senate candidates for District 29 have been invited to participate. Todd Eberly, St. Mary’s College associate professor of political science and interim director for the Center for the Study of Democracy, will serve as the moderator for the evening.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help fill local food pantries as the months turn colder.

St. Mary’s College of Maryland is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education through 2024-2025.
