Leonardtown, MD – St. Mary’s County Commissioner Tom Jarboe [R – District 1] (pictured left) has announced he would not be seeking re-election in 2018. Commissioners’ President Randy Guy [R] has announced he would be seeking re-election.
St. Mary’s County Government sources indicated Jarboe is conflicted with his fast growing business which would not enable him to devote the inordinate amount of time needed to carry out the “part-time” job of Commissioner.
It is also rumored in local political that Commissioner Todd Morgan [R – District 4] is eying a possible run for the House of Delegates’ seat currently held by Delegate Jerry Clark [R – District 29C]
