On Feb. 17, at 5 p.m., Trooper First Class Bowling responded to the area of Route 4 and Chaney Road in Dunkirk, for a reported motor vehicle collision.
When making contact with the driver, Robert E. Parrish, 20 of Huntingtown, a street sign was observed behind the driver’s seat. Investigation revealed that Parrish had stolen the street sign. The street sign has been returned to the Calvert County Highway Dept.
Charges are pending.
