Lexington Park, MD— On Feb.4, St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Timothy Snyder responded to Midway Drive for several subjects fighting inside the residence.ย
When Snyder and Sgt. Safford arrived they found two females and two males were involved in a physical alteration within the living room. Patrick S. Daly, 26, of Lexington Park, was identified after the fighting had stopped.ย
According to charging documents, “Daly exited from the kitchen with a knife in his hand. He (witness) stated at that point he observedย Daly and the other male identified as Ricky Bylanย fighting and fled out the front door.”
“While speaking with the witness, the victim reported that someone had stolen 78 of her Xanax pills that she had filled for,” according to charging documents.
Daly was placed under arrest, and a search of his person was conducted. A search incident to arrest of Daly revealed a prescriptionย bottle without a label. The pills matchedย the ones that were left in the victims prescription bottle. Daly was transported to the St.Mary’s Countyย Detention Center for processing.ย
Daly was charged with two counts of assault first-degree, assault second-degree, theft less than $1,000 and CDS possession- not marijuana.ย
Daly at this time does not have a scheduled court date. Daly faces a maximum jail sentence of 65 years and six months and/or a maximum fine of $28,000.
