Chalk-a-Thon, Maker’s Market, and Art Classes
Replicate, invent, or create a piece of art with chalk at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center’s (Annmarie Garden’s) annual Sidewalk Chalk-a-thon from August 4 – 12, 2012, 10am – 4pm daily. No reservations required. Simply pick up a bucket of chalk at the Arts Building! Prizes will be awarded in various age groups, including an adult category! Don’t want to get chalky? Just walk the path and enjoy the colorful masterpieces. Cost to enter the Chalk-a-thon is $2 per person; $1 per person for members. Regular site admission fees also apply. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to make some interesting art and experience a rather colorful pathway!
Maker’s Market
Mark your calendars for the Maker’s Market at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (Annmarie Garden) on Saturday, August 4, 2012, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm! Should the weather be HOT, seek comfort in the Arts Building and enjoy the Treasured: honoring precious and vanishing worlds exhibit! Admission to Maker’s Market is FREE. Ample, accessible and convenient parking is located in the parking lot and adjacent parking field. Handicap parking is available through the main gate. Support local entrepreneurs at Annmarie Garden! Regular admission fees apply to the Arts Building and the Garden.
