DFC Christopher Childress responded to the Super 8 Motel in Prince Frederick.
An employee of the motel could smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from one of the motel rooms.
DFC Childress contacted the occupants of the room and also detected a strong odor of suspected marijuana and smoke.
Jason D. Hall, 26, of Ferrum, VA, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
Danny W. Setliff, 25, also of Ferrum, was charged on a criminal citation with possession of drug paraphernalia.
