St. Mary’s County, MD — The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office says the man suspected of robbing the Twist Wine and Spirits on Three Notch Road in Lexington Park.on July 24 is also the man who robbed the SunTrust Bank in California on August 2.
Corey Scott Angstadt, age 51, of California has been charged with the following in connection with the bank robbery:
- Armed Robbery
- Robbery
- Assault First Degree (Two Counts)
- Assault Second Degree (Two Counts)
- Theft
- Firearm Use/Violent Crime
- Handgun on Person
He was already charged with the following in connection with the Twist Wine and Spirits robbery:
- Armed Robbery
- Robbery
- Assault First Degree
- Assault Second Degree
- Theft
He is currently be held without bond at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center
