EDGEWATER, Md. – On March 2, 2019 at approximately 12:06 a.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at the Royal Farms Store located at 301 Londontowne Road in Edgewater.
A male suspect approached the counter, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the business toward Mayo Road. Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police K-9 unit, however were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male in 40’s and was wearing dark clothing at the time of the robbery.
