Tavaughn A. Weeksย 

Lusby, MD— On July 12, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Buckler responded to Hernandez Lane in Lusby for a “disorderly subject.”ย 

When Buckler arrived on the scene the suspect, who was identified as Tavaughn A. Weeks, 22, of Lusby, was standing in front of a blue Buick in the driveway of the residence.ย 

Buckler ordered Weeks to show his hands and he complied. Weeks was shouting profanities and attempting to start a fight with his cousin.ย 

Weeks, “was acting disorderly and aggressive to all parties involvedย in this incident,” according to charging documents. Weeks was placed in handcuffs, at that point he became extremely disorderly towards officers on the scene.ย 

When officers placed Weeks in the back of a patrol vehicle,ย he attempted to push Buckler with his shoulder, when trying to avoid being placed in the patrol vehicle.ย 

Buckler made contact with the victim, who advised Weeks was in his house and was not welcome there. Weeks became very irate and started smashing the windows out of the victim’s Buick.

The complainant said that Weeks was yellingย profanities and acting crazy. The victim told Buckler that Weeks used a bat to smash the car windows.ย 

Weeks was arrestedย and transported toย the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting with arrest, and maliciously destroyingย car windows.ย 

Weeks has a heating scheduled for Aug. 22 in District Court. Weeks faces a maximum jail sentence of six years and two months and/or a maximumย fine of $8,000.ย
