April 29, 2011 at 9:00 AM there was a smell of gas in the Navy Federal Credit Union building. Bay District and Hollywood Volunteer Fire Departments responded. The building was then evacuated. The cause of the smell is suspected to be a gas leak. No word yet as to when the bank will return open. There was no fire and no one was injured.
