At 10:25 pm on Thursday, Feb. 16, TFC T. Quade observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 234 at Route 238, Chaptico, without the required rear red light reflectors. A white light was also observed shining from the rear as the vehicle was moving forward.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Christopher Brian Murray, 24, of Mechanicsville. A check through MVA indicated that Mr. Murray’s driver’s license and privilege was suspended.
A search, incident to arrest, of the vehicle was conducted. A wooden smoking device and a bag containing marijuana were located in the center console.
Murray was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, charged with Possession of Marijuana, Driving while suspended and held pending a bail review.
