On Oct. 3 at 9:40 a.m., a Charles County Sheriff’s officer observed a man acting suspicious at a convenience store on Acton Lane in Waldorf.
The man walked in and out of the business several times and appeared to be casing the store. As the officer approached, the man entered a car and drove away. The officer initiated a traffic stop and found a loaded 380 caliber handgun tucked in the subject’s waistband.
The subject, Kwasi Louard-Clark, 22 of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with carrying a deadly weapon.
