Huntingtown, MD – On April 23, Deputy Clark conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Huntingtown after observing a vehicle swerving from the center dashed line all the way over to the white line and back again.

After conducting the traffic stop, upon approaching the vehicle, Clark detected a strong odor of marijuana. Upon informing the driver, identified as Christopher Brian Redding, 24 of Huntingtown, of the odor, Redding opened a black backpack and handed Clark an open bag of raw marijuana.

Clark detained Redding at this point, and began toย  search the vehicle. The search uncovered 13 total round pink pills in a plastic zip lock bag.ย  The pills were discovered to be Dextroamphetamine, a schedule 2 controlled dangerous substance.

Redding was charged with CDS not marijuana, and has a District Court hearing tentatively scheduled for July 29.
