Swerving vehicle leads to CDS possession arrest

Solomons, MD— On October 26, 2016, at approximately 11:00pm, Deputy T. Mohler was on patrol near the Holiday Inn, in Solomon’s, when he received a dispatch for a possible intoxicated driver. 

He conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle swerving in and out of the traffic lane and operating without the required registration plate lights. The driver was ultimately issued the appropriate traffic warnings and released on the scene. 

The passenger, Teresa Hagy, 34, of Prince Frederick, was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.  She was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute a Narcotic (Oxycontin), CDS: Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic (Oxycontin) and Possession of Paraphernalia (cut straw).
