A Chesapeake Beach truck driver who rolled into Lottery headquarters in Baltimore last week is amazed at his good fortune! He claimed a $50,000 all-taxes paid prize won on a Biggest Taxes Paid Ever scratch-off.

The Calvert County man found his Lottery luck close to home at a Chesapeake Beach retailer.

โ€œI stopped by a store to cash in a Keno winner and decided to get a scratch ticket,โ€ our winner said. โ€œI saw the game with the tax-free prize and pointed to it.โ€

The 62-year-old scratched the $5 ticket in the store. Although he immediately realized the size of the prize, he remained calm. โ€œI said to myself, โ€˜I sure am lucky!โ€™ โ€ he recalled.

Our winnerโ€™s list of things to do with his prize include handling some personal financial issues, improving his home and property and taking a vacation. Our winnerโ€™s lucky retailer is Twin Beach Market at 8426 Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach. Many top prizes remain on the Biggest Taxes Paid Ever game, which launched in December. The scratch-off has six tax-free $50,000 winners in stores, six $5,000 winners and 17 $1,000 winners along with multiple lower-level prizes.
