The Maryland State Board of Education will recognize the 2008-2009 Maryland Teachers of the Year at its Board meeting Thursday morning in Baltimore.
The honorees, who are selected as outstanding teachers from each Maryland county and Baltimore City, will also have a tribute and enjoy lunch at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel immediately following the State Board of Education recognition ceremony.
The event is sponsored by the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association.
State Schools Superintendent Nancy S. Grasmick will be on hand, along with Members, Maryland State Board of Education, and Peter Kitzmiller, President, Maryland Automobile Dealers Association..
