On November 21 at 11:55 p.m., officers responded to the 14000 block of Oaks Road in Charlotte Hall after receiving a 9-1-1 call that an unknown man was trying to force his way inside the house by pushing against the front door.
The homeowners provided officers with a description of the suspect. Prior to arrival, the suspect fled but officers canvassed the area and located him about a half mile away.
The suspect, a 17-year old male from Charlotte Hall, was arrested and charged with attempt burglary, and other related charges.
