At 5:26 p.m., on Dec. 21, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Forever 21 located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf for the report of a shoplifting.
Investigation revealed a 15-year-old Temple Hills girl concealed merchandise and left the store without paying for it. After an employee notified police of the theft, officers located the suspect in the food court of the mall. She was arrested and charged with theft of property valued at less than $500.
She was released to her mother pending further action by the Department of Juvenile Services. Officer J. Timko investigated.
