At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Feb. 22 , Christopher Charles Guinther, 19, of Waldorf was driving north in the 7600 block of Marshall Corner Road in Pomfret when he attempted to pass another vehicle.
His vehicle crossed the center line, left the roadway, skidded across a yard a struck a house. As a result of the collision, the vehicle was embedded in the cinderblock foundation of the home.
Guinther was able to exit the vehicle and call for help. He was treated at Prince George’s Hospital Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
The residence was unoccupied at the time of the crash. A building inspector determined it was stable.
