At 2:22 a.m. Dec. 12, Charles County Sheriff’s Officers J. Plunkett and J. McGuigan were traveling north on Indian Head Highway in Glymont when they observed a northbound Cadillac speeding and swerving onto the shoulder of the roadway.
The officers attempted to stop the Cadillac but the driver refused to stop.
Officers pursued the Cadillac for less than two miles when the driver stopped his vehicle. Investigation revealed the driver, a 17-year-old Accokeek boy, was driving without a license.
Officer Plunkett issued traffic citations for driving without a license, speeding and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
