On January 28, at 9:33 p.m., Marcus Darnell Courtney, 18 of Leonardtown, Antwan Cory Montgomery, 18 of Hollywood and a 16-year-old male juvenile of Hollywood were arrested by TFC C. M. Evans for Possession of Marijuana.
TFC Evans and Tpr. Casarella responded to the reported motor vehicle accident at south bound Three Notch Road and Old Village Road in Mechanicsville. While speaking with the subjects, TFC Evans and Tpr. Casarella detected a strong odor of burnt Marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle. A partially burnt Marijuana cigarette was found in the vehicle.
The juvenile was transported to the Leonardtown Barracks for processing and later released pending further action by Juvenile Services. Montgomery and Courtney were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were charged with Possession of Marijuana and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
