On August 3 around 6:30 p.m. a tent was discovered in flames in the area of Billingsley and Crain Highway in Waldorf.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal the cause of the fire has been determined to be arson.
As a result of the fire, that caused $750 in damage, one adult has ben displaced and is being assisted by the red cross, who is helping the victim to find resources for better living conditions.
