Walk to support the men and women in your life at the 10th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fitness Walk on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event begins at Indian Head Village Green (100 Walter Thomas Road, Indian Head) and continues for three miles on the Indian Head Rail Trail. Enjoy music, door prizes, food, and a warm-up exercise. The event will be held rain or shine.

Proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of Maryland, which supports breast cancer education and research. A majority of the walkโs proceeds (70 percent) are earmarked for Charles County services, including Johns Hopkins Community Physicians; Sisters at Heart breast cancer support group; Health Partners, Inc.; and Greater Baden Medical Services.
