BURLGARY: Sometime between March 18 and March 30, unknown suspect(s) broke into a residence in the 3000 block of Donegal Court in Waldorf causing damage to the back door and door frame. Officer J. Marti is investigating.
BURGLARY: Sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. March 29, unknown suspect(s) broke into a residence in the 3600 block of Laurel Drive in Indian Head. They stole several items and fled the scene. Officer M. O’Shields is investigating.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: On March 29 at 9:14 p.m., officers responded to a parking lot of a business located in the 3600 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of a suspicious male and property damage. Officers located a man inside a car who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Officers attempted to arrest the man, Colbert Edward Carter Jr., 36, of Waldorf, but he refused to comply with verbal commands and resisted arrest. After a brief struggle, Carter was arrested and charged with related traffic violations, resisting arrest, and failing to obey a lawful order. Officers D. Walker and K. Makle investigated.
THEFT: Sometime between March 27 and March 30, unknown suspect(s) stole a red 7 x 12 enclosed trailer that was parked at the end of Foster Lane in Hughesville. Cpl. C. Gass is investigating.
THEFT: On March 27 at 7:27 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Chippewa Street in Bryans Road for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed sometime between 11 p.m. March 26 and 7:30 a.m. March 27, unknown suspect(s) broke into two different vehicles parked in the driveway of the residence. Officer N. Bledsoe is investigating.
BURLGARY: On March 26 at 12:54 p.m., officers responded to the 12300 block of Rock Point Road in Newburg for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) broke into the vacant property and damaged the drywall and flooring. The suspect(s) stole the air conditioning unit, baseboards, copper lines, water heater, furnace and refrigerator. Officer T. McKimmie is investigating.
