On November 18 at 12:23 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of Crain Highway after receiving a call for a shoplifting in progress at Burlington Coat Factory.
The suspects fled in a passenger car after they were confronted by an employee. Officers spotted the car and initiated a traffic stop. Numerous items valued at over $1,000 were recovered and the suspects were arrested. The stolen property was returned to the store.
Bridgette Quaunise Knight, 32, Chantel Seltzer, 31, Michael James Worthy, 19, and Necho Jerome Taylor, 20, all of Washington, D.C. were arrested and charged with theft over $1,000. Knight was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Officer Bagley is investigated.
