Indian Head, MD โ€“ State authorities are probing an early morning incident in Charles County in which three vehicles were set ablaze and destroyed. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshalโ€™s Office, the incident occurred Saturday, Dec. 20 on Meadowside Court in Indian Head. Fifteen firefighters from Indian Head and Potomac Heights were dispatched to the one-alarm blaze around 3:27 a.m. The firefighters brought the flames under control in five minutes.

โ€œSuspect[s] intentionally set the rear[s] of the three vehicles on fire,โ€ stated Dfm. John Nelson. โ€œAll three vehicles were destroyed.โ€

The torched vehicles are each described as sedansโ€”a Buick, Honda and Acura. All three were owned by Ricardo Keys. The total estimated loss is $20,000.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information that might aid investigators is asked to contact the Maryland State Fire Marshalโ€™s Southern Regional Office at 443-550-6833.
