Indian Head, MD – State authorities are probing an early morning incident in Charles County in which three vehicles were set ablaze and destroyed. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the incident occurred Saturday, Dec. 20 on Meadowside Court in Indian Head. Fifteen firefighters from Indian Head and Potomac Heights were dispatched to the one-alarm blaze around 3:27 a.m. The firefighters brought the flames under control in five minutes.
“Suspect[s] intentionally set the rear[s] of the three vehicles on fire,” stated Dfm. John Nelson. “All three vehicles were destroyed.”
The torched vehicles are each described as sedans—a Buick, Honda and Acura. All three were owned by Ricardo Keys. The total estimated loss is $20,000.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information that might aid investigators is asked to contact the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Southern Regional Office at 443-550-6833.
