Owings, MD – On Tuesday, Oct. 7 at approximately 4:32 pm, there was a report of a motor vehicle accident at Route 2 and Route 260 in Owings.
The accident involved three vehicles. One vehicle had only minor damage and no injury to any of the occupants. The other two vehicles had a total of four riders transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital.
The rescue squad and engine from Dunkirk (Company 5) as well as two ambulances from Dunkirk, one from North Beach (Company 1) and one from Huntingtown (Company 6) were required.
The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police set up a circle control around the intersection so traffic could keep moving.
