On November 18, 2010 at 1:31 a.m., TFC N. E. Gresko initiated a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 235 and MacArthur Boulevard on a red Ford Ranger for a traffic violation.
Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle she identified herself as Hope Gover Beggs, 55, of Park Hall. A NCIC and MVA query revealed that Ms. Beggs had an outstanding warrant and was suspended from driving in Maryland.
Beggs was placed under arrest. Information provided and evidence produced by Beggs resulted in her being additionally charged with CDS Possession and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Beggs was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
