Malcolm K. Robinsonย 

Waldorf, MD— On Feb.28, the Charles County Sheriff’s Officer P. Morgan conducted a traffic stop on a black vehicleย for having a tail light out, and for having blue registration plate lights on in the area of Crain Highway and VFW Road in Waldorf.

Morgan made contact with the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Malcolm K. Robinson, 23, of Washington DC. Morgan detected a strong odor of raw marijuana emanating from the vehicle.ย 

“I (Morgan) conducted a probable cause search, which yieldedย a bag containing 13 individually packaged bags of crack cocaine and one larger bag of crack cocaine in his (Robinson) front right pocket,” according to charging documents.ย 

A search of the vehicleย was conducted and, “on the driver seat was a glass jar containing 29 grams of marijuana. A further search of the vehicleย yielded a digital scale in the back seat of the vehicle,” according to charging documents.ย 

Robinson was arrested and transported to the Charles County Detention Center. Robinson was charged with two counts of CDS possession with intent to distribute, CDS possession of marijuana and CDS possession not marijuana.ย 

Robinson at this time does not have a scheduled court date. Robison faces a maximum jail sentence of 30 years and or a maximum fine of $67,500.ย
