At 2:05 p.m. Sept. 21, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Mile 4 Automotive located at 315 Smallwood Drive West in Waldorf for the report of a vehicle that struck the building.
Investigation revealed Felicia Ann Belcher, 31, of Bryans Road pulled into a parking space in front of the building but a bottle had become lodged under her break pedal and she was unable to stop the car, a 2000 Chevrolet Prism.
The car went over the curb and struck the base of a large window, causing the window to shatter.
Belcher sustained minor injuries and was transported to Civista Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services personnel.
No one else was injured and the building’s structure remained intact.
