Lexington Park, MD – At 4:30 p.m. authorities in St. Mary’s County reported a tree down on power lines on Route 235 just south of Hermanville Road. A tree removal crew with a crane has been dispatched to the area and are currently on site. Reports from the scene indicate the southbound side of Route 235 just south of Hermanville Road is down to one lane. Motorists approaching the area should proceed cautiously.
