Everyone has heard about the Cash for Clunkers Program; the Tri-County Animal Shelter is holding a similar, Cans for Cats Program. Donate one case (24 cans) of canned cat food to the Tri-County Animal Shelter and you can adopt an adult cat for free.
Adult cats are one year and older. If you want to help the animals at the shelter and are looking for love, fun, and a companion visit the Tri-County Animal Shelter. All cats will see a veterinarian to receive a physical exam, rabies vaccine,
spay/neuter, first distemper vaccine, microchip and tested for feline leukemia/FIV, before going to their new home.
Many of the cats at the shelter are victims of circumstance; their owners had to move, they were no longer allowed to have pets, or simply could no longer afford another animal to feed. These cats are waiting for you.
