Lexington Park, MD – On Sept. 5, St. Maryโ€™s County detectives arrested three suspects responsible for the burglary to an occupied residence on Town Creek Drive, Lexington Park.

Information was obtained during the investigation that a former caretaker had recently been terminated from employment and may have been involved in the incident.ย 

The employee, Jessica L. Johnson was located at a hotel in Charles County and a search and seizure warrant was executed by CID detectives at that location.ย 

Following the execution of the search and seizure warrant, information was obtained indicating property stolen from the burglary was being stored at a residence in Newburg, Maryland.

A separate search and seizure warrant was executed at that residence with assistance from detectives from the Charles County Sheriffโ€™s Office. Items related to the burglary were located at the residence.

Jessica L. Johnson, 24 of Mechanicsville; Johnny B. Young Jr., 27 of no fixed address; and William J. Gross, 60 of Newburg; were arrested and each was charged with first-degree burglary, armed robbery, unlawful detention, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and theft $1,000 to $10,000.ย 

The suspects were transported to the St. Maryโ€™s County Detention Center and incarcerated pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
