At 4:40 a.m. April 6, TPR Ewig of the Prince Frederick trooper barrack responded to the area of Rt. 260 at Rt. 4, Dunkirk, for the report of a stolen vehicle.
A witness had observed the vehicle being stolen from a driveway on Chesapeake Beach Rd., Chesapeake Beach.
TPR Ewig observed the vehicle, and stopped it just north of the county line.
Franklin Ciero Bryant, Jr., 39, of Chesapeake Beach, was arrested at that time for motor vehicle theft and theft. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
