At 4:30 p.m. Oct. 1, TFC J. Linger responded to the Easy Car Wash to assist DFC Trossbach with a suspicious vehicle.

DFC Trossbach advised a check through MVA indicated the tags displayed on the Buick, belonged on a Chevrolet, and the tag was suspended with an outstanding pick up order.

Contact was made with, Robert Lee Jupiter 3rd, 24, of Chaptico. Upon contact with Jupiter, TFC Linger detected an odor of burnt marijuana.

A probable cause search revealed a partially burnt marijuana cigar in his pants pocket.

Jupiter was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana.ย  He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
