On May 18 at 3:52 PM, Maryland State Trooper Donaldson was dispatched to a residence on White Sands Drive in Lusby for a burglary complaint.
Stolen property included clothing, money, DVD’s, a handgun, video equipment, video games, and jewelry. Total property loss was estimated at $3,460.00.
With the assistance of witnesses, Donaldson identified two suspects. Arrested for 1st degree burglary, two counts of theft over $500 and theft under $500 was Victor Johnlee Scottland, 18, of Lusby. The handgun and some of the stolen property were recovered from his residence.
A second suspect, a 14-year-old male of Lusby, is being sought for questioning.
After processing, Scottland was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center to await a commissioner’s hearing.
