PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – A serious crash left two people injured in Prince Frederick, Sunday evening.ย 

Sept. 9, just before 8:00 p.m., Company 2 from the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (PFVFD) responded to Dares Beach Road and Wilson Road for the reported serious crash.ย 

A Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputy was the first on scene and reported that a vehicle had caught fire and that at least one person was trapped.ย 

Squad 2 arrived and freed two motorists from the vehicle while Engine 22 provided a protection line for the fire.ย ย 

According to the PFVFD, due to bad weather the patients could not be flown so they were evaluated and taken to area hospital by ground.ย
