Two men charged with theft from business twice in one month

St. Mary’s County Corporal J. Somerville responded to the Clover Hill Dairy located on Woodbury Hill Rd in Mechanicsville on December 25th, for a theft in progress.

The complainant reported 2 male suspects loading several pieces of equipment, (electric motors, 12 foot steel pipe, small assorted pieces of steel), into a utility trailer being towed by a red Nissan pick up. Corporal Somerville located the vehicle while responding to the call.

The suspects were identified as Hugo Armando Lopez-Najera, 32, of Hyattsville, and Mynor Humberto Reyes-Lopez, 22, of Hyattsville. The same two suspects also stole materials from the same business on December 22, 2014.

Both suspects were placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

Both were charged with Theft Under $1,000, Theft Under $100 and Theft Scheme Under $1,000.
