Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division obtained a Grand Jury Indictment for the arrest of William Kuykendall, also known as “Butterball”, on the street.
The arrest warrant was related to an investigation spanning several months where the suspect was found to be selling crack cocaine.
Narcotics Officers, assisted by K-9 and Patrol Officers, located Kuykendall and took him into custody without incident.
He is currently being held without bond pending a bond review through the Circuit Court.
BCI Detectives also located suspect Julius Andrew Fenwick operating his vehicle in the Lexington Park area.
Fenwick was the target of a several month investigation that began during the month of September, 2005. As the investigation continued, Fenwick sold crack cocaine to an undercover police officer.
At the time of the stop Fenwick’s vehicle was search and located was a quantity of crack cocaine with a street value of approximately $800 and a small amount of marijuana.
The vehicle was seized related to the distribution of the controlled dangerous substance and Fenwick was arrested. He was charged with Possession with intent to distribute, three counts of distribution and possession of marijuana.
He is being held in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center awaiting a bail hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
