Late Monday afternoon, fire and EMS units from Valley Lee, Leonardtown were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on Point Lookout Road just north of Chingville Road.
An NAS Patuxent River ambulance was already on the scene when the first fire unit arrived.
One vehicle was off the road on the north bound side while the other was off the road on the southbound side.
The driver of the Hyundai complained of neck and back pain and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s officers were investigating the accident.
