Assault – On Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 2:59 pm, TFC B. Ditoto responded to the 21000 block of St. Lo Place for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that David J. Spendolini, 37, of Lexington Park, had allegedly assaulted a female victim. Mr. Spendolini was placed under arrest for Second Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner
Assault – On Sunday, Feb. 8, at 3:57 pm, Tpr. E. Krenik responded to the 45000 block of Jay Dee Court for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that Derrick Clifton Marshall, 36, of Lexington Park, had assaulted a female victim in front of numerous juveniles. Mr. Marshall was detained and escorted to Tpr. Krenik’s patrol vehicle. As he was walking, Mr. Marshall began to shout profanities in front of the juveniles and several neighbors. He was placed in the patrol vehicle, and began to spit saliva onto the floor boards and doors of the patrol vehicle. Mr. Marshall was moved to the rear cage of a St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault Second Degree, Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Obey a Lawful Order, Disturbing the Peace, and Malicious Destruction of Property Less Than $500. While at the Detention Center, Mr. Marshall was served with an existing warrant stemming from incidents earlier in the week. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner
