Deputy G. Muschette responded to the Kohl’s store in Lexington Park for the report of a theft in progress.
The suspect, Raquan Howard Johnson, 18, of California, attempted to conceal merchandise in a backpack and leave without paying.
The second suspect, Tyreak Otis Braswell, 22, of Lexington Park, passed clothing to Johnson. They were both transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Theft Less Than $1000.
