Congratulations Cheetahs!!
On Saturday, June 13th the La Plata U-12 Cheetah’s competed in the Sand Duels soccer tournament in Ocean City, MD. The team consisted of 8 amazing young ladies: Savanna Crooks, Cierra Nestor, Brooke Portzen, Angelica Emory, Aiva Chance, Gracey Adair, Olivia Paton, and Jordan Harris.
Throughout the tournament goals were made by Savanna Crooks, Brooke Portzen, Angelica Emory, and Aiva Chance. The team’s defense included Cierra Nestor, Gracey Adair, and Jordan Harris who played fearlessly and are recognized for preventing multiple goals.
The Cheetahs played against 4 tough teams but prevailed by playing aggressive and knowing the importance of teamwork. They ended the tournament in 2nd place!
The Cheetah’s coach, Sierra Crooks, would like to recognize all the players for their awesome performance as well as the parents for their support!
