UPDATE: Accident in Callaway sends two to the hospital

Update by Suzanne Copeland on 11/5/2014 at 4:25 p.m.:

At about 3:45 pm a motor vehicle accident occurred at Hunting Quarter Drive in front of the Food Lion in Callaway.

Witnesses stated the driver of a Silver Ford focus pulled out of Hunting Quarter Drive and crossed the path of a gold Toyota Camry traveling northbound on route 5.

Both drivers were transported to Medstar St. Mary’s  Hospital.

Around 3 p.m. today a two vehicle accident was reported in the area of Hunting Meadows Apartments on Hunting Quarter Dr on Rt 5 in front of Food Lion in Callaway.

North and South bound lanes are currently shut down.

Police and EMS are on scene.
