The Maryland Natural Resources Police have recovered the body of a missing boater. The victim was identified as Angel Giovani Ayala Cerros, 26 of Alexandria VA.ย ย The body was recovered in the Chesapeake Bay late Sunday, July 1 near Chesapeake Beach. The fatality was the result of the heavy winds and storms that came through the area late Friday night. The storm caused the boat Cerros was aboard to overturn and capsize. Four other people who were on the vessel at the time of the accident were rescued early Saturday morning. Cerrosโ body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsy.ย ย The Maryland Natural Resources Police Special Operations Division continues the investigation into this fatal boating accident.

The Coast Guard suspended its search at 11:45 a.m. Sundayย forย a 28-year-old manย after the boatย he wasย aboard capsized 15 nautical miles south of Annapolis, Md., near Breezy Point, Md., Saturday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Baltimore received a call at 3:30 a.m. Saturday from a crewmember aboard a fishing boat reporting they had rescued two people clinging to a crab pot. The two people rescued by the fishing boat indicated that they and three others were aboard a boat when it capsized, and that the three others were now missing.
A crew aboard a 27-foot Utility Boat from Coast Guard Station Oxford, Md., arrived on scene Saturday and rescued two of the remaining three people. The search continued for the remaining man.
